ReplyDeleteI'm just curious if I could get a word from God. Been out of work for 15 months now and don't really know my talents or gifts to even know what direction to take. Been asking God for ten years now what my purpose is or what direction to take and to have his way in my life but still seem to end up with no answers.

@ TS: In my experience it is best to do what you like doing and God will anoint it and lead you into jobs that use your talents. If you like music you may want to study so Sound Engineering for Radio, TV or Recording Studios; if you have concerns about the Environment there are many areas that could lead to good jobs; if you are concerned about the Homeless you could begin as a Volunteer then work at a Homeless Shelter. ReplyDelete@ Maja: The scripture that came to mind for you was Jesus saying "Know the truth and the truth shall sert you free!" One truth you need to know is the deep love God has for you. Keep telling Him you need to know that. Another truth is that Jesus is a healer! He took all our sicknesses to the cross with Him when He died for our sins and by His stripes (wounds, whip marks) we are healed! Sit before the Lord and wait until He shows up then ask Him to heal you ! Love, Jane

God gave me the impression that you put Jesus first in everything but.allowing yourself some little pleasures, like sharing a slice of pie with friends, is not a sin. I also had the impression that you should go to some Healing Conferences to have hands laid on your ear to restore it. I have seen legs lengthened', psoriasis healed, sight gained for eyes blind since birth and even heard of the dead being raised! These are the days of signs and wonders! So when you mentioned launching a boat it struck me that this new mode of transportation (boat) means tires aren't required anymore. I believe this confirms the new direction I am heading towards. The door would only be closed to those who did not have oil in their lamps when they got to Heaven. I believe the Lord was showing that we may see some of the colours being used and some of the wide and narrow stokes that will be there but the whole painting remains a mystery that unfolds as we follow His guidance thru our lives. Delete@ KJC: A prophetic pic for GRK: The Lord showed me a picture of a man trying to swim against the tide and I was reminded of when God saved my life from drowning in the Atlantic ocean when a rip tide tried to take me out to sea. I cried to God "Save my life!!!" and a big wave pushed me to the shore. I found out later that if you swim sideways in a riptide, instead of fighting it, it will eventually bring you into shore. Tell him to quit fighting and go with the flow!

Rather than a glass ceiling preventing you from rising in your career there were glass walls partitioning off areas where you were not allowed to go. The way around this is to study and earn a degree in one of these specialist areas which will allow you access into many more areas that will use your talents for the Lord and His plans & those walls will vanish. He said "Which of these two women is most likely to be hired for a good job?" If you look like the last picture and practice for Interviews you will be successful and have a nice home. Though I have never met her spoke too her, nor has she wrote me back, honestly I can think of a million reason too leave this alone, and only one too continu, I have asked him if I could merry her, if so do I keep waiting to be released from ware I am at now.
